Reclaim Retreat is 3 days and 2 nights to get out of town, meet up with friends, make some new ones and make space for God.
When was the last time you gave yourself space to rest? To restore not just your body, but your mind, your soul, your heart.
And when you aren't rushing, when you are unplugged and unoccupied - what will God say to you?
The Catholic Collective is the Archdiocesan initiative commissioned to support, inspire and empower youth leaders to engage young people in an encounter with Jesus.
The Catholic Collective is a network of youth initiatives for high schoolers and young adults (18-30), particularly those who are not currently engaged with the Church. The Catholic Collective provides a platform to connect young people in the Archdiocese of Brisbane with a youth initiative that’s right for them.
We believe in the next generation and are working to see the Church across the Archdiocese made alive. We want to see more young people brought into the Church and Parishes living out of an encounter with Jesus Christ.
Encounter Youth is a project that is purposed with engaging young people – particularly high school students – with the Catholic faith in a way that is relevant, life giving and compelling. We work in collaboration with both Catholic schools and Parishes to develop strong and growing parish youth ministries.
Encounter Music currently offers band coaching and formation; one on one tuition; Catholic music and song writing workshops. Beyond this, Encounter Music will look to develop a network of young musicians across the Archdiocese who collaborate, share ideas and write songs together with the view to recording and producing great music that reflects the heart of Catholic young people in the Archdiocese of Brisbane.
If you're a young adult in Brisbane seeking community and getting to know your faith, head along to Reclaim. Reclaim is a collaborative young adult initiative that seeks to breathe new life into the Catholic young adults scene in Brisbane by forming and empowering young adults to reclaim their faith.
