A LentEN resource for individuals and groups

Written for busy individuals but easily adapted for groups, each day includes a scripture reading and a reflection upon it, some questions to aid prayer and discussion, and relevant quotes from Pope Francis.

the resource

  • A small book that is easy to carry, and read, while commuting or sitting at home (18cm x 11cm, 128 pages)
  • Daily reflections for Lent, Holy Week and to Sunday Easter
  • For each day there is a double page spread with: the date; a Scripture verse; a short reflection; and a short prayer
  • Introduction and ‘how to use this book’
  • At the back of the book there are suggestions for group use and questions for reflection and sharing

A Resurrected Life will nourish and nurture prayer each day during Lent and into the first day of Easter.

Each day’s reflection is inspired by a short text of Scripture from the day’s Gospel reading, followed by a small reflection on the scripture, a thought or two on how to put the word into practice and concludes with a prayer.

The daily reflections will only require a few minutes for a person to read, reflect and pray. This Lenten practice will lead the reader into a deeper reflection on their daily life. As they reflect on the extraordinary hope that the Gospel bears – in their families, workplaces and the community – they will be empowered to raise others, to hear and see the Risen Lord so that they may rise with him.
