Working for justice and peace in our world is an essential dimension of our Christian mission. The Gospel is about loving God. To the extent that God reigns in our hearts, the life of society will be a setting for universal justice and peace.

CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING

For over 100 years, the Church has sought to reflect on contemporary social issues in the light of the Gospel. Many papal and episcopal documents form the body of Catholic social teaching. They deal with a wide range of issues including the dignity of work, the plight of migrants and refugees along with building a culture of peace.
