For over 100 years, the Church has sought to reflect on contemporary social issues in the light of the Gospel. Many papal and episcopal documents form the body of Catholic social teaching. They deal with a wide range of issues including the dignity of work, the plight of migrants and refugees along with building a culture of peace.
There are many sources of information on how Christians can take social action. Many organisations and groups also provide useful information on a wide range of social issues and suggest possible actions.
