In February and March 2021, the Archdiocese of Brisbane will be inviting all Baptised Catholics to consider their baptismal call to mission through an advertising campaign. The advertising will particularly be reaching out to those who are disconnected from the Church and their faith.
The campaign will be featured in:
- Westfield shopping centres
- Street advertising in the Brisbane CBD
- The Brisbane Times online newspaper
- Radio stations like Triple M and 96Five

where will we lead them?
The advertising will aim to reach three different markets and lead to three different websites:
There, seekers will be invited to sign up to the More with Jesus faith exploration resource. More with Jesus will feature 30 reflections that unpack the call of their baptism and invite them into prayer to encounter Jesus. The resource will come in three formats, all of which will be free:
- Book
- Podcast
- Daily email
Parishioners who wish to purchase their own copy of More with Jesus can do so here.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
While the advertising campaign will be organised by the team at Evangelisation Brisbane, it will require something from all of us.
Fliers will be sent to schools and parishes to be given to loved ones and you are also invited to participate by:
- Signing up for the prayer campaign, something we can all do to support and encourage those responding to this call to go on this faith journey
- Offer yourself as a volunteer to accompany those starting this journey (we may need 10, 100, or a 1000 accompaniers depending on the response)
- Be a welcoming presence in your community to ensure that new faces get a warm and friendly hello so that everyone who is looking for Jesus will find him.
The campaign was officially launched On Sunday 7th February 2021,
marked by a video homily given by Archbishop Mark Coleridge in all parishes.
